The Solar Telescopes Group develops and operates facilites for solar observations. The main facility is the German Solar observatory with GREGOR and the Vacuum Tower telescope (VTT) at the Teide Observatory of the Instituto Astrofisica de Canarias (IAC) on the Canary Islands of Tenerife, Spain.
