Coronal Magnetic Field Measurements and Model Predictions

Selected set of coronal magnetic field measurements using radio methods (Abramov-Maksimov & Gelfreikh 1983; Ryabov et al. 1999; Brosius & White 2006; Bogod & Yasnov 2009,2016; Krucker et al. 2010; Fleishman & Kuznetsov 2010; Anfinogentov et al. 2019; Fleishman et al. 2020; Kuroda et al. 2020; Yu et al. 2020) and the optical Zeeman method (Kuridze et al. 2019). The meanings of the symbols are shown in the panel. The figure also displays a phenomenological height dependence of a typical AR magnetic field proposed by Dulk & McLean (1978) and the dependence of the strongest coronal magnetic field on the height derived by Anfinogentov et al. (2019) for AR 12673. Also, the figure features results from Alissandrakis et al (2024) and Kaltman et al (2024) (in progress).
