A group of KIS members informed Mr Lilienthal in detail about the scientific and technical developments and achievements made by the Leibniz Institute for Solar Physics and its national and international partners for almost 40 years. Mr Lilienthal, who was attending a multi-day ESFRI meeting in the last week of September, was able to spend a whole afternoon at the OT, despite his tight schedule, and became enthusiastic about solar research.
