Dear colleagues,

In July 2025, the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Freiburg awarded a doctorate to Dr Saida Díaz Castillo on the basis of her thesis on “Convective plasma-magnetic field interactions in the Quiet Sun revealed by spectropolarimetric diagnostics”.
